Is the evaporator fan running? If not it may be your problem. You can hear the compressor and it is warm, could you also feel it vibrating? ![]() I intend to spend more time troubleshooting and looking at and appliancepartspros, etc., tomorrow, but would appreciate advice if anybody has some. Sister doesn't need the headache of dealing with this just now, and can't afford to replace it either. I feel like the display being inoperative is meaningful, but don't know enough about this unit to know what it might mean, particularly when combined with the limited functionality present (which rules out a totally fried control board). The only actions I am successful with are de/activating the panel lock, and entering service mode. I could activate the heater (I think I heard a click), and activate the compressor and fan.Īdditionally, the display only shows '0F' or momentarily switches to 'L0' if you press certain buttons. Long story short, I got it into service mode (it's a model lffh17f7hwc, with the deluxe control panel), and it's self tests appeared to check out. ![]() Just found out that my little sister's upright freezer isn't working.
